We are looking for a Java developer who is passionate about learning new technologies and who wants to take on the challenge to make Tre's mobile network and services even better than today! Our IT organization is about 250 staff strong, and you will be part of the Finance General team, which is currently a team of 12, a mix of employees and consultants.
About the role
As a part of the Finance General team, you will mainly improve and support our solutions for handling Collections, Payments, Handset finance, and Credit check. The functionality we develop and maintain has a high impact on our end-users and is highly important for our finance departments in Sweden and Denmark.
Your typical day will be made up of Java, databases, REST, SOAP, Jenkins, Dockers, Ansible, Spring boot, and more. You will work in an agile development team and be involved in analysis, design, implementation, testing (incl. test automation) and deployments.
Together in the team and close with our internal clients we are accountable for finding the best technical solutions to our prioritized backlog requirements. We are committed to delivering the most valuable requirements and having the client and end-users in focus. We embrace agile development and continuously strive to improve ourselves. We have close cooperation with our Operations team and strive towards automation of CI/CD.
Within the team, we all have different roles and competencies/skills. However, the group's needs determine what we will be working on - we all help with whatever the team needs, independent of our role.
Who you are
We are looking for someone who has a passion for software development for teamwork and has several years of relevant Java developer experience. We also view it positively if you are comfortable with SQL. We live and operate in an Agile environment where we see you as an integral part of improving our team's ways of working. You enjoy being part of the team but have no problem taking the initiative to drive changes to improve our systems, services and our ways of working.
The position requires that you be fluent in both spoken and written English. Knowledge of Swedish is an advantage but not critical for the role. Additionally, experience from our area (Payment Gateway, Collections, Credit check, and Telecom) is also beneficial.
