About the position
At Facil, you will work in an international environment. You will be located in Gothenburg and some of your main tasks will be to oversee the daily operations in the warehouse. You will be responsible for supervising and managing around 10 coworkers. A typical day will include planning, rescheduling, contact with suppliers and customers, organizing the team, contact with the quality department, ordering material and contribute with different improvements.
Responsibilities and Authorities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse
• Manage, motivate, and train the warehouse staff
• Evaluate the performance of the warehouse staff and plan personnel accordingly
• Manage, organize, and optimize warehouse processes (shipping, receiving, and storing of material)
• Responsible for the correct registration of inventory movements and look for optimizations
• Manage and maintain 5S
• Manage the care and maintenance of warehouse equipment
• Oversee any inventory discrepancies
• Support the implementation of the operational plan and support the measuring and reporting of the status
This is a white-collar position, and you will work office hours. This is a consulting assignment that starts immediately and is ongoing.
About you
We are looking for a natural leader who easily communicate with different kind of people and you are good at managing a team. To succeed in this role you need to be a team player who easily motivates other individuals. Furthermore you are hands-on and pragmatic.
Requirements:
• Experience from team leading preferably in the automotive sector (not required)
• Fluent in both English and Swedish
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office package
• Good people management and lean thinking
• Experience with an EPR package is a plus
• Bachelor 's degree within logistics or equivalent by experience
