The offer
As a Release Manager in Warehouse Engineering you will be creating a joint release candidate for multiple agile teams, preparing artefacts and securing approvals for a successful monthly deployment to production. You will be also assisting with the constant strive for process improvement within the test environments, from a release perspective.
In Warehouse Engineering, we develop, maintain, test and evaluate data sourcing solutions within Nordea's Group data platforms. Warehouse Engineering is also involved in the design of solutions matching the capabilities to prioritised business challenges. Besides, Warehouse Engineering, we are responsible for delivering the ETL development capability on the platform, through Warehouse Engineering Development.
What you'll be doing:
• Defining the release deadlines and milestones for the agile development teams based on the monthly release calendar.
• Consolidating the developed features from the teams in a common release candidate.
• Securing mandatory approvals, conducting and leading sessions such as Quality and Risk Assessments, Progress follow ups and Post Implementation Reviews.
• Presenting and delivering the consolidated release towards the operational Release Management team in the Release Readiness Meeting and attending the Change Advisory Board for final approval.
• Managing the deployment of the monthly release and communicating progress and results to relevant stakeholders.
• Liaising closely with test environments management and release management teams to enable process improvement.

Your background:
• A Bachelor's degree, preferably in IT.
• At least 5 years' experience in working in a data warehouse project.
• At least one year of experience as a release manager or in release coordinator role.
• An excellent English, both oral and written.
• Professional in writing technical presentations or documents.
