The department Volvo Accessory Center (VAC) focus is on increasing the accessory business and creating customer value at retail. The sales process is improved by integrating the accessories into the new car sales, with focus on the people working in the processes. The concept is based on lean principles and is a global change methodology. Our main deliverables include to implement and improve the concept at retailers across markets and to identify further improvement areas within retail and sales companies.
The overall responsibility for a Program Manager is to implement the program in agreed markets, and secure coaching and learning within the own 'Market Programs' as well as in the "Global Program".This position will be located in Gothenburg but with a high level of traveling within Europe and America. The VAC Program Manager will have a wide range of interaction points from Retailer to Head Office. You will be able to develop you program manager skills and lead several sub-project teams in parallel.
Main responsibilities
• Lead and manage the program in agreed markets, including market maintenance to generate incremental revenues and profits
• Be responsible for the coach recruitment process, on board the coach and quality assure competences over time
• Lead and manage the roll out planning, the program team in the market, and all relevant stakeholders
• Lead and manage the financial process and deliveries
• Follow up on performance, and proactively work with learning and improvements
• Coach and develop own coaches to deliver on program objectives and lean leadership
• Coach and support markets to develop their own maintenance process to secure sustainability of the new way of working applying lean principles
• Secure robust stakeholder management and communication
• Support the business planning process, including budget and forecast processes
• Secure own lean leadership development, and contribute to the overall team development
• Collect learnings and best practices from dealers and sales companies, share them within the organisation and secure transformation into further development of concepts
Required qualifications
• University degree level in Business or Economics or related discipline and minimum of 10 years of global commercial leadership experience
• Broad international commercial experience and knowledge of the value chain
• Broad Program Management and Project Leadership experience in cross functional settings
• Lean leadership credentials and experience of deploying the methodology in sales and service
• Broad Supplier Management experience
• Successful implementation and change management experience in an international setting
• Fluent in English
• Drivers license B
• Practical experience from working at retail within automotive is meritorious
• Experience from a line manager position is meritorious
