WHAT WILL YOU DO? The IT Infrastructure department is part of the Information Systems unit within Axis, our direct responsibility is to provide and maintain a secure, reliable and effective global IT infrastructure at Axis. Among many other things, we design and maintain Axis server & virtualization platforms, network, storage & backup, security, remote access, cloud platforms and phone systems. We also work closely with RnD to design and implement the infrastructure and services used in our commercial offerings. You will work closely with the rest of the Infrastructure team based in Sweden. With responsibility for over sixty sites around the world, direct involvement in the commercial offering and always striving to stay independent from consultants by keeping expert knowledge in-house.. we are not your typical IT department. We believe that you feel at home in a global, ever changing IT environment and the complexity that comes with, and that you have several years of working experience in a similar environment. In addition to that we are looking for someone who is a team player but can work independently if needed. Most important you are an open and driven person with a genuine interest in your job, service minded and communicative. THE MAIN SKILLS WANTED ARE:
Comprehensive understanding of the complexities in a global IT environment
Several years of experience of design/deploy/maintenance of multi-site VMware vCenter 5.5/6.0/6.5 infrastructure. Both Windows and VCSA deploys.
Experience administering and supporting VMware ESXi 5.5/6.0/6.5 infrastructure.
Experience providing technical resolution to advanced incident and problem events related to the VMware Infrastructure.
Powercli/powershell scripting experience.
Strong knowledge of storage technologies.
Strong knowledge of networking.
Advanced trouble shooting skills, VM's, vCenter, ESXi.
Experience with Turbonomic monitoring is a plus.
Experience with Zerto DR solution is a plus.
Escalation to and further troubleshooting with vendor (VMware) when needed
Excellent English skills, written and verbal.
