VESC - Volvo Cars Engineering Student Concept
Volvo Cars' Research & Development department (R&D) transforms ideas into innovations in order to meet the high standards of creating the future Volvo Cars. We use the latest technologies and advanced methods to create customer vehicles that make people's lives less complicated and that bring connectivity to wanted level. At the same time we challenge ourselves to contribute to the progress of the society we live in. We develop cars that offer our customers an exciting driving experience with a luxurious feeling. VESC aim to establish a good foundation for a long term relationship between Volvo Cars and students in various Master's Programmes. The concept will provide you as a student with a unique opportunity to experience and work in the very centre of the product development in the automotive industry.
Content:
• Summer job for 4-10 weeks throughout the summer period of 2012
• Thesis work during your Master's Programme
In order to be eligible as a participant in the VESC programme you need to be in your first year of a 2-year Master's Programme. In addition, you need to be fluent in English and/or Swedish.
