hela Sverige NCC's goal is to be the leading contractor in VDC and digitization with a wide implementation and usage of VDC supported processes. One important part to reach that goal is a central group driving development structured and coordinated towards all BA 's.
This role will report to Head of VDC Group who are responsible for VDC development and structured VDC implementation within NCC. The work will focus on to develop and implement VDC support in processes in NCC, focusing on the whole company. For this role a knowledge within infrastructure are an advantage. It 's important to have a good team spirit and contribute to the designated path regarding integrated VDC and Orbital. The work will be a mix of development but also working closely to projects piloting and implementing new ways of working. Since the work in development and implementation is in all Nordic countries and a team that is spread out in the Nordics, this position includes flexible hours and travel. Approximately there will be travel 2 days per week and you can have your base in any of the Nordic countries.
Areas of responsibility and primary work tasks
• Be an active part in developing VDC supported processes (Implement changes in existing processes to incorporate VDC methods) in NCC
• Examine the work of PPD Infrastructure and understand the different core processes as a generalist
• Together with PPD Infrastructure build line organization knowledge to see what direction development needs to be directed and to collect line organization experiences for DOS
• Be a part of developing and managing the work regarding standardized properties and data templates to support digital purchasing etc
• Drive implementation in NCC 's different BA 's together with VDC organization within BA 's.
• Handle development projects, both in large and small scale and with different complexity.
• Stay oriented in VDC and digitalization within the industry and outside NCC. And contribute to raise the bar of knowledge within NCC.
• Represent NCC outside the company and be able to present NCCs strategy within VDC related topics
• Contribute to NCCs development within Construction Connector and integrated VDC
• Take responsible for planning your work and deliveries. Independently be able to take responsible for progress within areas of responsibility.
• Take an active part in a team that are geographic spread out and contribute to team spirit and teamness.
Qualifications
• Educated engineer architect, designer or other relevant education in the construction industry
• Be able to take a stand on overall VDC supported processes in relation to constructional detailed issues.
• Have a deep understanding how VDC can be used beneficial for both design and production.
• Be able to demonstrate and communicate the advantages that VDC contribute in all part of the process of a project.
• Always reflect on the bigger picture and be able to choose the most efficient path for NCC
• At least 5 years' experience from the Building industry and VDC.
