The position
You will be part of Valtech's team for consolidated accounting and financial reporting, with three additional collegues, and be part of Valtech's Corporate Finance with employees in different parts of the world
The role will span a wide range of working tasks, and you will:
• Participate in the preparation of the Group's monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
• Participate in the preparation of quarterly reports, annual reports and note packages.
• Assist and support the subsidiaries in reporting and accounting issues.
• Work together with the team to develop the Group's routines and processes around accounting and reporting.
Your position is placed in Stockholm, Kungsholmen at Valtech 's Swedish headquarter and you will report to Head of Financial Reporting. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to work in an international environment with Stockholm as home turf.
Qualifications
You have a degree in economics, preferably post-secondary. You have at least five years' experience of working with accounting and it is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience from consolidated accounts and IFRS. We value an interest in systems and experience from working in Hyperion, is a merit.
As a person, you are responsible, thorough, and independent but at the same time you appreciate collaborating and being part of a team where you contribute to the already positive collegial atmosphere. Furthermore, you are communicative, educative and appreciate sharing your knowledge.
The role requires English Proficiency, and you are attracted by the possibility to work in an international environment with many points of contacts.
