Market Company Nordic represents Volvo Bus Corporation with total business responsibility for its product range of buses for City, Inter-City and Coach traffic as well as for the Service market business. The responsibilities can be summarised as marketing & sales, service, parts sales, finance, maintenance packages and the development of the retail network. The geographical area comprises the Nordic countries.

Used Bus Manager Buses Nordic

We are now looking for a Used Bus Manager to further develop the Nordic Used Bus business which consists of retail sales of "newer" coaches and buy-back buses. Holder of this position has ownership of the Used Bus Center in Arlanda and overall responsibility of Used Bus business in Nordic. This involves sales, marketing and management of used bus sales across all four countries. He/she will also help in the development and execution of marketing and sales strategy to secure new business opportunities. The role involves lots of interactions and co-operation with international traders and customers.

The primary focus is on securing a long term sound profitability by developing new markets and customer relationships, supported by accurate forecasting of sales volumes and thorough inventory management.

Job description/ responsibilities:
Lead, manage and develop Nordic Used Bus business
Leading the development and execution of a Nordic Used Bus strategy including sales forecasts, management of financial and cost control
Develop Used Bus Center Arlanda
Business owner of Used Bus Center Arlanda and related day-day activities to sell "newer" coaches
Preparing the annual budget for Used Vehicle sales including sales projections, margins and costs
Act as business partner to the four Nordic markets in regards to handling of used bus sales
Sales of used buses - domestic as well as international
Marketing through digital channels and active in social medias
Establish effective routines and processes for efficient handling of used buses
Safeguard a profitable and sound used bus business in close cooperation with the four Nordic markets
Contacts with international customers and traders
Coordinate sales and handling of large batches of buy-back vehicles in Nordic markets
Main responsible of evaluating trade-in buses

Qualifications:
Passion for bus sales
Deep knowledge of buses as a product
Experience and know-how of the use bus sector in Nordic markets is a merit
Entrepreneurial spirit with strong businessman ship
Service and customer minded
Ability to establish good relations
Great communication and negotiation skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written
Experience of working with dealers, customers and traders

Location

The location of the position is flexible but preferably Stockholm, Sweden.
