The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Relevant experience from software development in a Linux Android based embedded system
• Proven experience working with bootloaders, device tree configurations, clock tree configurations, Linux drivers, boot optimizations in Linux and android
• Excellent skills in C & C++ and for full stack development
• Experience with modern development methods such as Scrum, Continuous integration using tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins
• Thorough knowledge of object-oriented development and design.
• English profficiency
Nice to have
• Previous experience working with HAB and dmcrypt, SE Linux
• Communication skills in German
About the position
• Work as a senior software developer for embedded Android / Linux systems in Lund.
Further, in this position you are expected to:
• Be able to do HW board bring-up of Android SW stack from scratch and optimize boot-up time
• Debug and develop software in C / C++ for Android Linux based embedded systems.
• Participate in every stage of the software development from design and brainstorming through feature implementation.
• Communicate with other development teams and when needed also customers.
