The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• You are a C developer with debugging skills for Linux
• You are used device driver development.
• you have experience of microprocessors and working close to the hardware.
• You hold a technical university degree or a Master of Science in Software Engineering.
Working language: Swedish/English
Meriting competence
• Experience in any of the following areas will be considered a plus: Yocto, BitBake, Open Source projects, C++, JTAG, Python and bootloaders.
About the position
• Your team is an international team, and part of a 300 people strong R&D department, with broad competence in the Linux platform and build systems.
• work in an agile environment close to products where new initiatives and possibilities constantly emerge.
• You will join projects doing technical design and implementation of new features.
• you are involved in every step - from initial idea to final product.
• Your main responsibility is to develop device drivers for their own boards.
