Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) invites applications from candidates with research and teaching interests in Entrepreneurship and/or Strategy. JIBS is one of four schools within Jönköping University and it is highly ranked worldwide in the areas of Entrepreneurship and Family Business research. The School is recognized as the most international business school in Sweden and one of the most international in the world. It has about 150 employees and 2100 students. Our mission is to advance the theory and practice of sustainable value creation in private and public organizations, with emphasis on Entrepreneurship, Ownership, and Renewal.
QUALIFICATIONS AND TASKS
The successful applicants with a PhD degree in Business Administration, or similar, should have an international outlook, excellent record of high-level publications and evidence of excellent teaching skills in relevant areas. The working language is English and knowledge of Swedish is not required. The position includes the following main tasks:
• a commitment to realize JIBS? mission within teaching, research and service to society
• design, lead and conduct research projects, preferably across disciplinary boundaries
• publish in international, high-quality journals
• develop and conduct theoretically advanced teaching of high practical relevance
• supervise and mentor PhD students
• attract external research funding
• interact with stakeholders within and outside academia on a national and international level
• disseminate research results to make an impact within and outside of academia
• contribute to building the organization by taking on the responsibility for different leadership tasks
To qualify, you will need documented experience from the tasks above.
