Scania is seeking a driven and skilled individual to the Corporate Finance team within Treasury.

About the Corporate Finance Team
The Corporate Finance team, part of Scania's Treasury department, plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the financial integrity of Scania and its subsidiaries. Our mission is to protect the company's capital through prudent management of funding, financial risks, and capitalization while creating value through initiatives like working capital programmes and efficient liquidity management.
In this transformation, against the backdrop of a challenging landscape, and with increased focus on cash flow and capital efficiency, your role, as a Corporate Finance Specialist, is integral in ensuring Scania's resilience and success.
Key Responsibilities of the Corporate Finance Team
Financial Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
Capital Management: Optimize funding and capitalization strategies to support stability and growth.
Working Capital: Lead initiatives and provide expertise to enhance working capital efficiency.
Liquidity Management: Develop and execute strategies for prudent liquidity management to maintain operational agility and resilience.

Your Profile
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced finance professional with passion for the related topics, people and business, and someone eager to contribute to the development of our organization. You are detail-oriented, structured in your approach, and possess the ability to build trust and influence others.
We are committed to fostering your success in this role and building a diverse, skilled team that combines different perspectives and expertise. Below are the skills and experiences we value highly:
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Treasury with exposure to Front Office and Corporate Finance-related activities.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in financial analysis, risk management, and a solid understanding of financial markets and instruments. Experience in loan contract negotiation is an advantage.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
A sharp analytical mindset and strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Familiarity with Treasury Management Systems such as Quantum is a plus.
Fluency in English is required.
