Develop Network Security Systems Design (detailed and final design with documentation)
Stay up to date with industry standards and latest on network security vulnerabilities and countermeasure.
Devise network security procedures, frameworks and guidelines for the whole company.
Evaluation and assessment of network and product security for internal and external customers.
Product development for next generation communications systems.
Support strategic sourcing for Communications Equipment Vendor evaluation.
Bachelors or Master's in Engineering or other related degree
7 years + related experience.
Fluent in English and preferably in Swedish too.
Superior verbal/written communications skills for effective interfacing with non-specialist technical team members.
Technical Skills
Design and Maintain wired and wireless networks with Firewalls and wireless security measures such as WPA2, 802.1x.
Identification of weak points in networks (wired and wireless) and mitigating them.
Design with the fundamental understanding that security can be breached at many levels of the OSI Model.
Good working knowledge of current Wireless and Wired Enterprise Security guidelines and practices.
Good working knowledge of Ethernet, Industrial Ethernet, Routers, Firewalls.
Demonstrated experience with enterprise wireless deployments with a key focus on security and countermeasure configuration.
Demonstrated Fundamental understanding of present day vulnerabilities in modern networks.
Must have a good understanding of the following security domains: Audit and Monitoring, Risk Response & Recovery, Cryptography, Data Communications, Computer Operations Security, Telecommunications & Network Security, Security Architecture & Models.
Strong Knowledge of Security Frameworks (ISO 27002, NIST 800-53, COBIT, HITRUST)
In depth knowledge of networking and network routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VRRP, etc.)
In depth knowledge of stateful and next generation type firewalls is a must.
Experience with netflow based performance and security monitoring solutions is desirable.
Ability to troubleshoot complex networks and design network security solutions.
