As a Travel Leader you need to have knowledge in creating and implementing travel strategies within large-scale organisations and knowledge of digital solutions to support travel management. You are constantly exploring new ways of how one can integrate the travel agenda in to the business with the organisational values close at heart.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have extensive knowledge in global travel management from large scale organisations including a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a similar role within the corporate travel area in a multinational context.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a global business leader to join us in the future development of the travel processes and structure for the Ingka Group to drive business growth, develop our people, collaboration and engagement, with focus on our overall objectives for Meetings & Travel; efficiency, health and wellbeing, safety and security, sustainability and lower cost.
The assignment also involves aligning business requirements and efficient implementation of travel services and solutions in close collaboration with our global team and network of Country Meeting & Travel Leaders.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be to;
• As part of the Centre of Expertise for Meeting & Travel at Ingka Group define, design and share the Ingka Meet & Travel framework and approach in line with market trends, latest developments and best practices to achieve key business objectives.
• Lead the global development and implementation of business travel processes and structure for all co-workers.
• Benchmark global best-in-class practices to seek avenues to enhance leadership and learning capabilities, cost savings, sustainability and efficiency when traveling for business.
• Lead the monitoring of all markets, to secure alignment to Meeting & Travel policies & rules.
• Contribute to internal communication of the Ingka Meeting & Travel program aimed at providing co-workers and business leaders with updated information.
• Ensures operational effectiveness and compliance of the Ingka global travel program by analysing, recommending, and implementing changes within the organization, as it relates to corporate travel, balancing business needs and company controls
• Develop KPIs and report out on performance
• Ensure suppliers deliver agreed to services by measuring performance and identifying opportunities for improvements
• Keep current with the latest travel industry trends vital to the travel planning process to identify the safest and most economical travel options and for developing future program and savings strategy.
The position reports to the Ingka Group Meeting & Travel Manager and is based at our activity based office in Malmö (Hubhult).
