Description
We are now looking for our next Tool/Die Designer, this is an opportunity for you that want to learn the profession from our experienced group of engineers.
As a Tool/Die Designer you will have the overall responsibility for implementation of die design changes that affects our in-house press dies, including updating the documentation. You will also investigate what affect the product changes have on the die designs and if the changes are technically possible to implement and which the consequences will be.
We also see the possibility for the right person to grow into a larger area of responsibility.
This means that the role as Tool/Die Designer involves:
- Having the overall responsibility for implementation of die design changes.
- Investigating the possibility for adaption of press dies from external customers into NEVS process.
- Giving feedback of proposed improvements on product design for streamlining.
- Die design check for new press dies from external customer.
- Developing and improving our standards for the press dies.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience from engineering design, press dies or processing machines
- Experience from working in CAD, preferably NX and Teamcenter.
- Good knowledge in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
To be successful in this role, you need to:
- Be creative, solution-oriented and have the ability to solve problems
- Be self-initiated, fact based and result driven
- Have functional technical skills, and be able to listen to others
- Adaptability in the interaction with different persons, groups and culture.
