To this exciting and dynamic environment we are now looking for an experienced tester with developer skills. As a tester within Product Development IT, you will have the opportunity to work in a core project to Scania's modularity principle, delivering solutions to Scania's product development process.
Job description
As a tester, you will work closely with the development team in short sprints. The project is central for Scania's product development and hence, strives to maintain high level of test coverage. You will be part of a team, that are keen to learn, be productive, communicate efficiently and have fun!
All test and deploy are automated; and this role would require you to have experience in:
Capturing and describing system tests
Test automation
Test frameworks for rest services.
Since we strive for T-shape competence profiles, developer experience is meritorious
Some of your daily tasks may include,
Follow up test results from previous days automation
Flag deviations and trouble reports for the team
And.... last but not least fika!

Competence profile
You are positive to participate in improving testing, test methods and tools. Your background could be software development, with a focus on testing in the near past. University degree in IT is essential. In addition to Swedish, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
We need you, who enjoy taking on new challenges and working with a focus on quality. As a person you have an analytical, agile mindset, focused on exploring different scenarios in a solution. You are a team player, but at the same time you have the ability to take initiatives and work independently.
