Ideally proven experience in managing technical tests (IT team) and coordination of UAT tests with the business. Scheduling regular product upgrades, regression testing post implementation of major features. DevOps experience handling test suites, cases in the tool.
Your responsibilities as Test Manager and Tester:
Co-ordinate with various stakeholders to get adequate requirement details to test
Create and maintain complex manual / automation test scripts
Ensure that manual / automated test scripts are reviewed, and all review comments are closed
Execute manual / automation test cases as per defined criteria and maintain test results
Identify and describe opportunities for non-functional test activities
Co-ordinate creating non-functional test
Cooperate with business representative and IT management to specify and agree on the scope of testing
Plan, deploy and manage test team and test activities
Create and review test documentation like test plan, test report etc.
Track defect(s) and ensure all defects are correctly reported (all required details are added while reporting a defect), analyzed, assigned or escalated when needed
Report test status and work status regularly to assignment manager
Measure test efficiency and finding ways to improve
Coach, guide and assist the project team in test area to fulfil their missions. Skilled at identifying competence needs of the test team
Support and advise business in test management process
Recommend for go /no-go decisions about the project based on identified risks, poor product quality and low business value
Co-ordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) / User Validation Testing (UVT) / end to end (E2E) test in project
