Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a leading supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to providing complete and sustainable transport solutions. Together with TRATON and our sister brands MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International, we are working to shape the future of mobility with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions.
Do you want to contribute to shaping Scania's future product offering? Are you passionate about understanding the full vehicle and how technology is experienced from the driver's & owner's perspective? Then this could be the right role for you!
Our values - customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste - are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are at the forefront of creating a sustainable future.

Role Summary
We are now looking for a new colleague to join us in one of our most important responsibilities, Acceptance Evaluation Test (AET). AET is a part of Scania's full vehicle testing where the goal is to provide a snapshot of the current project status and assess whether we are moving in the right direction in terms of meeting the set property targets. Most importantly, AET helps determine whether the product delivers on the expectations of the Scania brand.
The test participants in AET are the Scania reference group and the R&D management. In this role, you will have a central position in evaluating how Scania's latest product initiatives meet the customer expectation from a holistic perspective.
This is a highly cross-functional role where you will work closely with the line organisation, project management, and property owners.

Job Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities include:
Planning and executing acceptance tests in collaboration with Scania's reference group and R&D executive management.
Evaluating subjective attribute targets using structured methods such as a 10-point evaluation scale.
Organising and conducting climate tests for R&D management, covering both summer and winter conditions, with possible participation from the TRATON Executive Board.
Analysing and presenting the results from subjective assessments in debriefing meetings.
Leading and developing the reference group - a team of senior test drivers with deep experience in Scania's products and systems.

In this role, you will work closely with Scania's technical leadership and gain insights into our most cutting-edge and strategically important development work.

Who You Are
We are looking for someone who:
Is outgoing, structured, and technically curious.
Has solid driving experience, a higher driver's license (C or above) is an advantage.
Has a strong interest in vehicle systems and product evaluation.
Has experience in testing, product development, or related technical roles.
Can work independently while being an engaged team player.
Has strong communication skills and is comfortable presenting in both Swedish and English.
An advantage is understanding Scania's software release process, including experience with vehicle software updates.
Basic knowledge of Jira, including the ability to search for and track SSCRs over time (e.g. identifying when an SSCR was introduced and in which software version it is planned or delivered) is also meritorious.
Experience with Scania's products and development processes is meritorious.

What We Offer
A key role in Scania's product development, close to both technology and strategic decision-making.
The opportunity to influence how our vehicles are perceived by customers.
A varied and stimulating working environment that combines hands-on testing with analysis, coordination, and communication.
The chance to work with highly skilled colleagues and build deep product and customer knowledge.

Scania Offers
We offer a dynamic, flexible workplace with hybrid work options, including Scania Sergel and Midway hubs. With a structured development plan and courses, Scania supports your career growth both locally and internationally.
Benefits include training at our health center Gröndal or wellness allowance, result bonus, flexible hours, and company car leasing. Scania also hosts events for employees and their families, and Stockholm residents enjoy direct access to Södertälje via Scania Job express buses for an easy commute to Södertälje.
