This job is located at the Synopsys Hardware Platforms Group in Lund, Sweden. We work with the world's most important electronics companies in the verification of systems and ASICs using the HAPS FPGA based programmable platforms.
You will be part of a test development team that develops a custom made test environment for the HAPS products. Efficient handling and control of tests, versions, and logging of data is an important part of production of hardware. We do this in a custom made test environment that allows testing to be done remotely but maintenance, support and updates to be done locally. We are looking for a person with great software skills but also with an interest for hardware and who enjoys actual hands-on work now and then. As this job includes also development of actual hardware tests, exerience with FPGA designs (RTL, board design, etc) will be a valuable asset.
More specifically, this job includes:
• Software development in C/C++, mainly in a Qt environment
• Experience of MySQL and database programming
• Actively participating in designing the features needed to constantly improve quality and stability of the test environment
• Scripting languages valuable
• Experience of Boundary Scan recommended
• Training of test engineers in new features and modified tests - Development and modifications of FPGA designs in VHDL/Verilog
Requirements:
• BS + 5 years
• MS + 3 years
• Accommodating, motivated and able to work independently
• Experience in electronics products is considered a plus!
