In-Car Digital (former Driver Interaction and Infotainment) is one of the fastest growing areas within Automotive today. Competition is not only limited to traditional automotive competitors. Innovative and fast moving companies like Google and Apple are influencing competition heavily. Volvo Cars has successfully launched a cutting edge driver interaction and infotainment solution, and is committed to continuous success.
In your role as Test Architect at Driver Information and the instrument cluster, you are responsible for the overall quality strategy as well as test strategy needed to enable a continuous flow of high quality customer value. This includes architectural design principles enabling good testability and test. You also work hand-on guiding and helping the teams to execute test activities.
As the Test Architect, your main objective and responsibility is to lead the development and facilitate the deployment of the quality/test strategy. You support the teams in development of good test design, test analysis and how to achieve Continuous Integration from a test driven development strategy.
Required qualifications:
* Minimum a B.Sc. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Major experience from development, testing and quality assurance of complex embedded systems
* Experience of test automation and continuous integration
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Valid European driver's license B
Meritorious qualifications:
* Knowledge about Driver Interaction and Infotainment technology area
* Experience from working with test driven development
* Experience from test framework development
* SW development
Personal qualities:
* Analytical
* Communicative
* Cooperative
* Enthusiastic
