Then the position as Material Specialist at Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions could be your next job!
The position is located in the Base Material group. We strive to continuously adapt and improve our base material supply base in cooperation with our suppliers, converting factories and development organisations. Your part in this will be to become a recognized
specialist for Base Materials Polymers in Tetra Pak. You will interact with many highly professional global stakeholders - both internal and external.
Your base will be in Lund and you will travel around 25 days/year.
Main responsibilities
• Responsible for driving optimization of rheological properties for a wide range of polymers used for extrusion coating, film blowing and injection moulding
• Drive knowhow activities to model polymer behaviours
• Participate in cost & quality improvement projects with suppliers
• Translate system requirements to polymer specifications
• Support the organisations with polymerrheology competence in projects and for lab measurements
• Monitor performance and drive corrective actions
Qualifications
The person we are looking for is open and actively shares knowledge with others.
Building relations comes easy to you and you know how to balance listening with persuasion and helpfulness with firmness. You are analytical and organised which makes it easy for you to create a structure and keep track on many parallel issues. To be successful in the role you need to be patient and persistent.
You have a technical university degree and working experience from the industry or a background as a development engineer. You have documented experience from using rheology methods. Written and verbal English skills are essential.
