Do you have the ability to communicate a technical message in text and image? Do you like to have contact with a lot of people? Then you should apply for the role of technical writer.
As a technical writer you are responsible for planning and developing technical information for a specified target group.
We are looking for a member to join our team and foremost be responsible for the maintenance plan publication, a necessary publication for the Gripen C/D airworthiness. We seek a person that is eager to learn and not afraid to take on new challenges.
Your profile
We want to strengthen our team with you who are happy to take on new tasks and are driving forward without compromising on quality.
You have a good communication ability that strengthens the cooperation with others and you contribute with enthusiasm to the group and at work.
When you work in a management project, it is important to be able to work independently but also in groups. It is therefore important to be flexible and to know when you need to take your own initiative. You will have the possibility to learn and grow within the role with new challenging tasks as you develop.
Your educational background is less important but we would like you to have a university education in the relevant technical field.
It's meritorious if you have experience as a technician or flight technician / engineer with good knowledge of writing in English. Also good English and Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement.
Experience of aeronautics is an advantage, but most important is that the will to learn is there!
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
What you will be a part of
Within business area Support and Services, you find business unit Gripen Support and this is where our department Technical Information and Engineering is located. It consists of five sections of approximately 90 employees and our employees work within maintenance engineering, technical information development, and training materiel and project management mainly for Saab products.
The Airworthiness and descriptions section's main responsibility is descriptive and airworthiness information for Gripen C/D and other Saab products. The descriptive information consists of general descriptions as well as detailed descriptions for different sub-systems including illustrations.
The airworthiness information is line maintenance information and maintenance plans. Today the section consists of 10 employees located in Linköping.
