We are looking for a professional trainer with a passion for teaching customers and other stakeholders about Axis solutions and transferring our knowledge about products, systems and the market. You are a driven, motivated team player with a talent to work with many different team functions as well as personalities. Your interest in new technology will reflect in the content you deliver, constantly changing and adapting to new needs and new technical opportunities.
Furthermore we believe you are/have:
Well acquainted with IP networks and topics such as camera technology and image quality or traditional surveillance
An educational background, teaching technical subjects /or a technical background with teaching experience
Excellent presentation skills
Technical interest in order to build knowledge about products and systems
Experience in creating new content in presentation materials and hands on work shops
Fluent in English, additional language useful within the region is beneficial
WHO IS IN YOUR TEAM?
You will be part of the Northern Europe Sales engineering & Training team. We are the technical link between our sales department and our partners. In essence, we action a lot of the interesting technical things but get to be part of and support with sales activities as well. Our weeks are filled with customer sales meetings, arranging workshops and trainings, and helping partners with system designs or on site proof of concepts. This keeps the role interesting, varied and a lot of fun.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Training our customers in our technology and the market are key functions and something crucial for our success. You will be a part in creating new material as the market shifts and new technology emerges, and requires new types of training and material. Together with the Regional and Headquarter team you will adapt our offering to the needs of the market and Nordic region.
As Technical trainer you will be a central point of contact regarding training in our region, implementing new material from HQ and localizing it with relevant examples from the region. In addition to this you will drive the requests and wishes from the region towards the Axis Academy team at HQ and together with them work on new modules and lab examples.
You will also work closely with the sales organisation where you will work with a wide range of stakeholders. Our Technical trainers take part in projects where they are often asked to take part in designing projects, educating the partners and sometimes on site being hands on with the products and solution. Don't be surprised if you find yourself at a power plant, a train station or a school proving what you presented in the classroom. Our days are filled with variety and interactions with partners and customers.
Apart from above it will be your responsibility to:
Deliver classroom based courses, webinars and presentations
Promote Axis training & product offering internally at local office (Sales engineers, KAM, Marketing, Inside sales etc.) and externally (partners)
Localise and update training material
Set up Axis products at events or meetings and demonstrate the Axis portfolio to Customers
Serve as Axis diplomat on training and new product initiatives
You will be part of an international team covering the region Northern Europe (UK, Ireland, and Nordics) and report to the Regional Manager for the Sales Engineering and Training function.
The role is office based, in Lund, and includes travel. You will typically travel two weeks per month, during which you typically travel 2-4 days/week.
