Now, we're looking for an engaged Technical System Manager to take technical ownership of our systems lifecycle: test, implementation, maintenance and decommissioning.
This is part of the role
We are looking for an engaged and experienced Technical System Manager at Nordnet. In your role you make sure that systems under your care runs like a dream. You also set up proper integrations with supporting and interacting systems and identify technical risks.
You ensure that the systems are aligned with Nordnet's technical requirements and that the technical regulatory and internal requirements are fulfilled. You work proactively with the systems, primarily Microsoft based, to guarantee they are maintained and upgraded in a proper way. Driving discussions with vendors on a technical level is a prerequisite in this role to optimize the systems. You are responsible to coordinate and ensure that development, test and changes occur at the right time and according to standards. Project management skills will come in handy for this role.
You will be a key stakeholder towards system owner and business counterparts to identify technical risks, escalations in critical cases for incidents and requests and responsible to ensure compliance to the relevant controls that apply to the system.
To succeed in this role, you need to thrive in hands on troubleshooting / configuration as well as communication and co-operation with important stakeholders like system owners, tech department heads and system specialists.
This position includes on call duty.

A key to success in this role is to establish and uphold good communication and co-operation with important stakeholders like system owners, tech department heads as well as system specialists.
You have an extensive IT background with solid application and IT environment knowledge as well as senior troubleshooting skills.
You like to communicate and you have a true interest in building relations. You are committed as a person and working in a fast-paced environment is something that suits you very well.
With precision as a mantra in your daily work and a love for quality, you continuously strive for keeping our application portfolio in great shape. You like to take responsibility and to work in an environment where you continuously learn. Finding application consolidation possibilities and license optimization scenarios is something that you consider as a fun challenge.
Experience with products, such as Abasec, IBM MQ, Windows OS and MS SQL databases is advantageous since many systems managed by the team run on the Microsoft platform.
Language skills in both Swedish and English are mandatory.
