We are looking for a Technical Safety Manager that will have a key role in developing Group Truck Technology operations safety work. You will help us to secure the compliance of Volvo Trucks research & development operations to the workplace and technical safety legislation and will also be a resource for managers in the area of safety. You will be handling several areas, one of them being CE marking legislation and implementation. With your support we will secure the world class technology development while developing our sites in being safest for our employees.
Your role will be to monitor legislation, control compliance and coach our managers in developing testing labs and rigs keeping the highest safety standards. You will be operationally responsible for site Lundby, operationally and strategically with delegated coordination responsibility and you will have coordinating role for our other sites in Sweden.

Who are we looking for?
We believe you are a person who has experience with safety management in industrial operations and enjoy working in a large multifunctional organization. You are self-driven, motivated by challenges and action oriented. You are systematic in your approach and bring structure into the process. You are self-driven and good at planning. You have strategic capabilities and good presentation skills. Experience in CE marking is an asset.
We would like you to have a relevant university degree, 5 years' experience with operational safety management and be proficient in English and Swedish. You have coaching and training skills that you will use in order to increase our competence within safety area.
