There is therefore a need to strengthen the IT department with technical project managers, who would like to work in a dynamic environment with many international links.
As a Technical Project Manager you will manage both external customer projects as well as internal projects. Your overall responsibility will be to deliver successful IT functionality accordingly to the business requirements.
You will be located in Gothenburg and apart from your colleagues there, you will work closely together with the IT departments located in Stockholm, Warsaw & Barcelona. Your work will be carried out in projects & teams under the supervision of the Research & development manager.
Responsibilities
• Manage external customer projects as well as internal development, business or process related projects.
• Lead and/or participate in more than one project simultaneously.
• Assist the customer in creating requirement specifications to deliver the best possible result.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications based on the customer?s requirements.
• Ensure that all project documentation such as project directive, project plan, risk assessments and status reports is delivered.
• Delivering the projects within the given quality, time and cost constraints.
• Work closely with the representatives of the sales & production departments to give the customer the needed service.
Requirements
• A completed higher education within IT and/or project management/business management.
• At least 2 years of experience of project management within IT projects using methodology such as a waterfall or agile project model.
• System development experience and knowledge, from system design to implementation.
• Very good ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• To be able to work structured and methodically as well as being proactive and self-motivated.
• Challenged by logical thinking and problem solving.
• Travel might be required based on project and customer location.
Qualifying knowledge
• Knowledge regarding content and document management systems and structuring of information.
• Experience of multilingual system solutions and challenges of such.
• Know-how of XML technologies such as XML, XSL and XHTML.
• Experience of Kanban.
