As part of this, we wish to hire a Technical Presales Consultant to communicate and discuss roadmap in technology and serve as strategic advisor to the customer.
YOUR OPPORTUNITY
As Technical Presales Consultant, you will combine your technology skills and your ability to present and communicate in order to create business opportunities for both future and existing customers. You are an expert in the technical structure of IFS Applications and can advise customers on how to install the software which fit their business best.
The job mainly consists of answering non-functional requirements within RFXs (please note that this covers much more than pure technical issues) and conducting presentations related them.
You are an expert in security, authentication, rights and the opportunities with them. You are the IFS technical contact person for Oracle and convey expertise on Oracle products as well as licensing. You handle the technical part of license compliance, which provides advice on how integrations and similar are compliant as well as review customer installations.
You are an important resource for sales enablement in the technical field, new documentation and input to commercial writing which includes presentations, contract documents and sizing guides. You act as the IFS R&D technical contact person in Nordics, which means that you give feedback to IFS R&D on technical issues and get new information from them.
Qualifications
TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Through your previous roles, you have acquired a great deal of knowledge in technology and you are well aware of what is going on in areas such as mobility and cloud. You are used to staying constantly updated and visualizing the future. You understand ERP, its processes and the challenges faced by suppliers. You are experienced in working close to sales and with complex businesses and processes.
You are an excellent presenter and communicator who like to inspire and influence others. It's important that you have the ability to create trustful relations since the role involves a lot of customer contact. You are strongly contributing to the business so you must be responsive to the customer's needs as well as focus on convincing and selling. To succeed in the role you are a person who is eager to do business, is self-motivated, and gets inspired by taking overall responsibility.
Thanks to your technical skills, your interest in technology and your ability to communicate, you are comfortable with taking strategic discussions both internally and externally, up to the highest level of management. You are result-oriented with a strong willingness to succeed, you take responsibility and you have the ability to see overall solutions.
You have relevant academic degree or equivalent. You have very good knowledge of English and Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or Finnish, bort verbally and in writing.
The position is located at any of our Nordic offices and involves travels in Nordic, sometimes at short notice.
