JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a driven and creative Technical Information Specialist. In this role you will have the overall responsibility for the online help files resident on Axis’ products. Daily work entails gathering highly technical information from experts within the organisation, studying existing material and translating into valid information for our end-users.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We believe you have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant for technical writing and documented experience from comparable work.
To function well in this role, it’s crucial that you have excellent English skills and basic Linux and programming skills. You shall also have experience and knowledge in version control, content management, HTML and XML.
Furthermore we believe you are focused and efficient with the ability to deliver on time. You are driven by a keen interest in Axis’ technology and products. You are also a dedicated team player with excellent problem solving skills and you are enthusiastic towards providing high quality technical documentation for Axis’ network video products.
CORPORATE MARKETING DEPARTMENT
Corporate Marketing is responsible for the global marketing strategy and planning, in accordance with the company’s overall goals and business strategy. Technical Information Management is part of the Corporate Marketing department, where the team also cooperates with the training team and product marketing. The overall goal of the Technical Information Management team is to author, design, maintain and update accurate, consistent and user friendly technical documentation for Axis’ network products.
