LeanNova Engineering is an engineering service company situated in Trollhättan, Sweden, created in 2012 by former engineers from Saab Automobile AB. Together with our main investor Fouriertransform AB, we are developing the company to compete internationally, mainly focusing on the automotive industry. We offer our customers excellence in development and integration of systems and attributes for complete vehicles. We have since the start-up in February 2012 grown to over 170 employees with a majority of former Saab engineers but also persons with other experiences. We will continue to grow rapidly and we plan to open offices in Shanghai and Gothenburg.
Position description
We are looking for a System Safety Manager. You shall have extensive work experience from project management and functional safety work. Your tasks will be to organize the System Safety work according to ISO 26262. Part of your job tasks will be to set-up and organize System Safety organization, high-level process and project plans, development of templates, set-up of roles and responsibilities. Lead activities from Safety Concept work, Hazard analysis and requirements down to final validated Safety Cases for the complete project. Furthermore you take part in FMEA and FTA activities.
Another important task is to train and support system safety engineers. You shall have great commitment and a willingness to participate in the development of technology and systems for tomorrow's vehicles.
Automotive experience is a must, as well as study or work abroad. Merit is a background of having an active role in implementation of Functional Safety process and standards (ISO26262 or other relevant functional safety standards), expertise in feature development, requirements management, distributed and embedded control systems, vehicle communication, model-based development and simulation technology.
After initial period of 6-12 months in Shanghai you will move back to Sweden to work with the functional safety team in Trollhättan or Gothenburg. You will travel back to Shanghai 5-6 weeks per year.
Skills & Requirements
• At least 10 years of work experience within E/E Systems Engineering.
• Project Management / team lead skills
• Min 5 year experience working with functional safety.
• Requirements Management skills
• English in speech and writing
• Good team player/communicator
• Academic degree, Master or Bachelor in Electrical, Electronic or Software Engineering
