We believe that you have experience from System and Function design and want to improve how we develop and design the systems on our current and future platforms. You like being the person who takes the lead towards real change and improve Electrical Development Process (Process, Method and Tools) in an Agile transformation phase environment. What we do
We are responsible for integration of the complete electrical system in the vehicle programs at Volvo Cars. At the department are integration leaders, software configuration managers, test engineers, advanced fault tracers and hardware in the loop (HIL) engineers. The department runs program management and offers HIL and Boxcar rigs for the complete electrical system. On top of this, we have taken on the lead for the operational development (OD) projects for the Electrical Development Process, EDP within P&Q. We are responsible for developing and maintaining the Processes, Methods and Tools (PMT) of the EDP. The section consists of 20 experienced, competent and dedicated people.
Do you fit the profile?
You will act as a single point of contact, securing communication and knowledge sharing within the network. Continuously you will be identifying and suggesting improvements, execute according to best practise as well as developing process, methods and tools.
Required qualifications
* M.Sc. / B.Sc. or several years of relevant experience
* Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written
* Experience in hardware system design and requirements handling
We prefer that you have an overall knowledge on complete vehicle level and a good understanding of the need of PMT solutions for developing mechatronics. If you also have knowledge of tools like Team Center Requirements (TCr), System weaver and Elektra and/or standards as Autosar, Product Data structure, meta models it is meritorious.
