System Engineer Vehicle Mode Management

As part of a team, you will be responsible for systems and functions within Vehicle Mode Management (VMM) area. You will work cross functional and in close cooperation with all functions/systems/components included in the electrical system e.g. Chassis, Power train, Safety functions, Electrical Design, etc. This goes for conventional cars as well as hybrid and micro hybrid cars. In this role you will be part of new exciting projects and ongoing projects.

VMM defines the car user's different user modes and car modes which consist of coordinating and design prerequisites for all functions/systems and components related to electric power and energy availability. Define the logic and the HMI related to VMM function.

One of our main objectives is to achieve the most effective and optimized solution controlling electric energy and power (current consumption) in benefit of CO2, functional properties, safety secured functions regarding electric power and all of this in every possible situation the car and user can be exposed for.

Job profile:

• As a System Engineer you will develop systems for the future
• Create specifications and technical solutions that will be the foundation for system-, component and function owners
• Create new test methods and verify
• Be a part of the interface definition for new decoding systems to the power supply mode
• Define control logics for electrical systems and forces
• Find solutions and define the need of efficiency from the car user
• Networking and close collaboration with other functions
• Involved in early phase projects

Your profile:

• Civilengineer within Electronic area or long work experience from similar role within Automotive industry.
• Experience from system development is very important for the role.
• Good knowledge of english (spoken and written)
• Cooperative and good communication skills
• Structured and driven.
• High business acumen
• Experience from hybridtehnology is meritous
• Experience from Statemate/Simulink is meritous
• Driver's licence
