Join us at one of Sweden's largest Business Intelligence departments where you will have a key role in designing and securing our data warehouse platform.

As our System Architect you will, as a part of our system architect team, work as a spokesperson within architectural governance, lead the proactive architectural work and design solutions on existing environment. You will be responsible to secure that the maintenance and project organizations are aligned with the established target architecture.

We work with Netezza and Informatica Power Center as our datawarehouse platform, and develop BI solutions to help our business units make the right strategic and operational decisions. You will be a part of a highly skilled, closely knit and ambitious team and collaborate with architects and teams within our function but also with other stakeholders. The demand for BI solutions is high and is expected to grow as the need for decision support is growing.

To succeed in this role, we believe you are analytical and structured in your way of working. You have strong communication skills and can motivate others. You like to collaborate with different stakeholders and have a genuine interest for continuous improvements and understand and quickly grasp new technology. You will need to understand H&M's BI requirements and turn them into system quality in an architectural perspective.

Your responsibilities
The job of a System Architect at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility - and lots of fun.

Your to do-list includes:

• Maintain architecture design and developer guidelines and secure that they are implemented
• Responsible for having a maintainable and documented solution
• Act as a mentor for solution designers/developers and support development team with design reviews and advices
• Perform pre-studies, requirements and impact/risk analysis and associated time estimates
• Participate in the requirement analysis process to devise a solution that fulfill the requirements
• Continuous performance, architecture and ETL improvements of our Netezza and Informatica platform
• Collaboration with H&M Integration Competence Center and source systems to handle new or modified integrations

And your skills include:
• Senior BI experience
• Long and broad architectural competence from BI-solutions, data warehouse, software architecture, etc.
• Experience from Netezza environment or adequate datawarehouse platform
• Database knowledge
• Good communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
