System Architect - Complete Software Factory
Software development that makes a difference

What are we doing?
At Complete Software Factory we are harmonizing the workflows and developing tools to be used across R&D, with the aim to accelerate the software development at Volvo Cars.
• Developing continuous integration (CI) architecture & infrastructure.
• Maintaining the complete software build and CI flow.
• Enabling high utilization of infrastructure, test objects, and test artifacts.
• Creating automated tools & applications to secure an efficient flow.
• Supporting traceability to fulfill legal requirements.
What will you do?
• Continuously improve speed, efficiency, scalability, and stability of continuous integration system and environment.
• Together with the Product Manager for the ART provide the architectural roadmap and architectural vision.
• You explore and define the needs for the software architecture and work with all stakeholders within the Software Factory as well as the Engineering and Digital software architects.
• Ensuring compliance with software quality standards and best practices and establishing a core team for implementing the required solutions completes your job profile.
• You build strong relationships in the developer community.
Your background and skill set?
• University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or in a related field.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of the fundamental concepts of CI/CD, understanding of disciplined methods in the design, development, debugging and test of large-scale software
• Previous architectural responsibility in Large-scale software development within Automotive is meritorious.
• Very Good communication skills with all kinds of stakeholders from developers to senior managers.
• Business-fluent English
