ELITS is now searching to fill a permanent position for a System administrator, Puppet to Stockholm.
About the position:
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a global team implementing and supporting a large puppet installation in a heterogeneous global IT environment with several thousand servers.
Puppet is IT automation software that helps system administrators manage infrastructure throughout its lifecycle, from provisioning and configuration to patch management and compliance. Using Puppet, you can easily automate repetitive tasks, quickly deploy critical applications, and proactively manage change, scaling from 10s of servers to 1000s, on-premise or in the cloud.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge, experience, operation of Puppet technology, and writing puppet manifests.
• Linux/Unix System administration
• Strong organization skill
• Strong documentation skill
• It is important that you can handle critical server solutions, and at the same time have a professional attitude, be able to organize your tasks and handle stressful situations. You should have a great interest in technology and the ability to visualize the customer needs.
• Installation, configuration and trouble shooting skills
• Ability to work independently
• Fluency in English and good knowledge in Swedish
• Experience of ITIL is an advantage
• Experience working in large enterprise organizations is an advantage.
• Communicative and a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues
• Organized and strive for results and quality
• Being proactive
