Ready to navigate towards a more sustainable future? As Sustainability Lead at Stena Line, you'll be driving our environmental initiatives, ensuring that our actions are both innovative and aligned with long-term goals.

In this role, you'll coordinate sustainability efforts companywide, with a strong focus on environmental sustainability. You'll build increased awareness and engagement both internally and externally within the sustainability field. You will be our company expert in evaluating alternatives, set priorities, and assess the long-term consequences of sustainability decisions. You will also be responsible for managing our Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Some of your key responsibilities:
• Act as the company point of contact for sustainability
• Coordinate change and general improvement within relevant areas and work with continuous improvements
• Ensure adequate internal awareness with regards to sustainability as well as external communication with relevant stakeholders
• Be responsible for the Environmental management system (ISO 14001)
• Contribute to the development and adherence of the company sustainability strategy
• Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations and reporting needs and keep up to date on initiatives and trends developing in relevant areas

The Sustainability Lead is a newly formed role within Stena Line Fleet Operations and you will be important in achieving our future sustainability objectives.

Qualifications:
• Relevant academic university degree within sustainability or environmental management
• Experience in environmental management systems, ISO 14001 or equivalent
• Experience in interpretation of current and upcoming legislation
• Experience from working in shipping, transportation or consulting is considered an advantage
