As a Sustainability Developer you will play a key part in reaching our sustainability ambitions. The role is part of our corporate sustainability function and will be highly cross-functional. It involves a broad area of activities aimed at pushing development forward.
As Systemair is an international company, travel will be required when online meetings are not sufficient for the purpose. Your base will be at Systemair's headquarters in Skinnskatteberg, Sweden. A hybrid setup may be an option. You will report to the Global Sustainability Manager who reports directly to the CFO.
Your main responsibilities include:
This is a new role and your specific areas of responsibility will be formed in partnership with the Global Sustainability Manager. They will include design and support of processes for developing current and future sustainability priorities in Systemair's business functions. This involves leading the way and to champion the business perspective of Sustainability to make progress happen.
As Systemair is a listed company you will assist in the reporting process and creation of Systemair's Annual and Sustainability Report. Gathering intel and communicating with internal and external stakeholders will also be part of the role as well as communicating sustainability proof points in cooperation with our Marketing Department.
Your experience:
Previous experience of working with sustainability is required. Systemair is a "one-stop-shop" on the ventilation market with a broad product portfolio, it is therefore advantageous if you have experience from similar companies on an international level. Previous experience of managing projects involving the implementation of new ways of working and responsibilities at companies with operations in multiple countries is also a merit.
Relevant university degree and at least three years' post-university experience. Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and oral.

You have a genuine interest in sustainability and a willingness to keep up to date with the steady stream of new and updated information in the area. You enjoy creating material to increase awareness on sustainability topics as well as adapting your communication to the audience.
As the role is new and we are in a development phase, you are a leader and influencer with a flexible attitude and proven problem-solving expertise. Good interpersonal skills allow you to win trust in the organization.
