The Technical Support Team
Thesupport Technicians are HEROES. That's because our technicians do more than manage complex support cases they are determined, resilient and have an unshakable positive mindset. Our team consists of 30 people today from multiple international backgrounds, who work and play closely together. We have a larger Global support team that we interact with daily, with locations in Sydney, Tokyo, Raleigh USA and Bangalore India. We think you will love it here!
How you will spend your time as the Support Delivery ManagerAs the Support Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for providing corporate-wide, cross-functional leadership to increase support quality in the EMEA region. You will act as the voice of the support organization to our external customers and stakeholders and serve as an inspirational leader to your colleagues dedicated to providing world class support. You will serve as a support ambassador in our internal organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
People Management
• Manage the Support Delivery staff within the region
• Ensure staffing levels and skill levels are maintained throughout operational hours
• Ensure staffing expertise and technical knowledge are maintained and developed
• Ensure staff availability for operation of 24x7 and Follow-the-sun services
Customer Care
• Participation in Customer/Partner events
• Onsite visits
• Be first point of contact for escalations for the region
• Ensure case queue management performed as per procedures
• Ensure case handling performed as per procedures
• Manage global projects and initiatives
• Liaise with Senior Management
You will be successful if you have- . Bachelor degree in computer science, informatics or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of work experience in an IT/software support environment
• 5+ years of experience with people management
• Experience in Microsoft environments
• Business level English mandatory
You will thrive if you have- Knowledge of ITIL - certification a plus
• Customer Service related certifications a plus
To be the perfect candidate, you need to have excellent leadership skills. You're a seasoned people manager able to lead, develop, motivate and manage high performing teams by creating a well-oiled machine from a support delivery perspective. You're an excellent written and spoken communicator as well as being an active listener.
You have great prioritization skills and you have a multi-tasking capacity, which enables you to keep calm under pressure and still maintain a structured way of working.
You interact effectively as a leader and work collaboratively with other departments. You're a creative thinker and you have the ability to drive innovation within and outside your team.
