Papyrus Group is looking for two Supply Chain Planners
Papyrus is creating a central Supply Chain Planning team as part of a strategic initiative to produce a best-in-class Supply Chain performance. This is a new organisational entity aiming to transform the way we interact with the top suppliers within our industry. By active handling of both internal and external stakeholders Papyrus is building a new operational set-up with the ambition to create an industry leading Supply Chain platform for the future. The team will develop new tools and processes which will develop both the organisation and its employees.
This job opening gives an opportunity to join a true change journey, actively contribute to the success of the new organisational set-up, as well as being part of a diverse team and learn from industry experts.
The Supply Chain Planners will manage the supply of paper from the manufacturer into all Papyrus countries in order to maintain a targeted availability, whilst minimising stock and supply chain costs. You will actively participate in projects and system integrations.
Your work tasks:
• Ensure that the right quantities are ordered from the supplier, by maintaining appropriate master data, managing the supply model and ensuring that the right purchase orders are created
• Oversee actual deliveries, troubleshooting as appropriate
• Prepare for and manage a weekly call with the supplier to hold them to account for their supply performance
• Prepare for and manage a weekly call with major countries to monitor performance to internal service level agreement, and to update market intelligence
• Drive progress on agreed targets and objectives
• Develop a deep, fact-based knowledge of the underlying demand patterns for the products that they are replenishing, including major customers, and develop plans to reduce the variability of their demand
• System set-up and data quality monitoring
• Develop a deep understanding of the internal operations of the supplier
Your profile:
• University degree with a strong mathematical and ideally statistical component
• Three to five year work experience in a supply chain planning environment. Paper industry experience is seen as an advantage
• Experience working in an international company
• Computer literate
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Confident communicator
• Willingness to drive and ability think outside the box
• Structured and well organised
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage
The Supply Chain Planners will be members of the Central Replenishment Team and be based at Papyrus Group HQ in Mölndal. You will report to the Supply Chain Planning Director.
