We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead our high performing Supply Chain organization in Sweden, serving Sweden & Norway. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills and the ability to put together a talented, efficient team. As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for leading Warehouse and Transport Operations in order to maximize efficiency, productivity and customer experience for Sweden and Norway. We operate as a matrix organization, where you will have a functional reporting-line to our Director Supply Chain Nordics & Baltics, located in Denmark, and be part of the local Mediq Management Team in Sweden, reporting into the MD of Sweden.
Main responsibilities:
Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy
Lead improvement initiatives and projects from analysis & business case to implementation and impact tracking
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service and Finance teams as well as Mediq's international Supply Chain organization
Deliver key supply chain financial and qualitative KPIs
Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
People management of a total team of 90 employees, with 6 direct reports, located in Kungsbacka and Umeå
Maximize efficiency, productivity and customer experience for our warehouse and transport operation serving the Swedish and Norwegian market
Budget, goals, performance monitoring and reporting
Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers, transport partners and key customers' logistics teams
To be successful in the role, you will typically have most of these qualifications:
Previous working experience within supply management, warehouse and transport operations
Hands on experience with supply chain management software (WMS, ERP)
5+ years of management experience in leading a team, as a value driven leader
Experience from management teamwork
Experience from working with LEAN and continuous improvements
Sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on the company's success
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Analytical, logical and systematic approach to work
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
University degree in relevant field
Excellent language skills in Swedish and English, written and verbal
