Description
If you want to work with building advanced supply chain strategies, this position could be for you.
As a Supply Chain analyst within the Supply Chain Operations (SCO) IBM Strategic Planning team you will play a key role in the shaping of our future supply chain and industrial base agenda. You will deal with central and cluster SCO stakeholders on a high level to support supply chain decisions aimed at improving the performance of our industrial base. You will obtain a wide network of contacts with large parts of Tetra Pak.
You will be able to make the most of your knowledge and professional skills with an aim to grow your future seniority in the company.
The position could be based in Lund, Sweden or in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Main responsibilities
• Drive simulation and optimisation analysis using state of the art technology
• Interact with stakeholders to secure high quality data for analysis purposes
• Conduct analyses to arrive at conclusions for activities to improve the competitiveness of our industrial base
• Be deeply involved in shaping and forming our future supply chain
• Explore new means and methods to improve our overall analytical capabilities
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you have a Masters Degree in Engineering or Mathematics. You have experience of finance and/or supply chain related work tasks. You are comfortable working with large and complex data sets and have a deep knowledge in the Microsoft Office applications. You are fluent in English, both verbal and written.
It is essential that you have an understanding of the SC Guru software. Actual experience working with the tool is a clear benefit.
As a person you are result oriented and self motivated with excellent presentation and communication skills. You also possess excellent analytical skills, a high level of business understanding and able to form and drive concrete action plans from your analysis.
