Position Description Material Management at Volvo Parts Logistics Eskilstuna is searching for a
Supplier Relationship Manager to strengthen our collaboration with suppliers and improve supplier deliverables.
The Supplier Relationship Manager is organized within the Material Management organization in Eskilstuna. Reporting to the manager of Logistics development and support.
Job Description:
Manage negotiations with suppliers in critical material supply situations
Lead the local Supplier Relationship Management team
Support Material Planners in critical supplier meetings / supplier related activities
Develop and drive the Supplier Relationship Management program together with Volvo Parts Europe Supplier Relationship Management team.
Be an active part of the internal Operational Development work
Travelling, frequently and with short notice will be required
Profile:
The person we are looking for is business minded, self managed and a good communicator with networking skills. Further the ability to show courage and integrity and enjoy reaching organisational objectives by working together in a solution oriented manner is a key to success.
Qualifications:
University Degree within Logistics or Business Administration
Procurement / Material Planning and/or Purchasing experience
Skilled within Microsoft Office (Excel And Access)
Swedish and English is required ? other languages skills will be considered as a plus
