Description
Are you passionate about quality and continuous improvements? Then the position as Supplier Quality Engineer might be the next step for you.
Our team, Supplier Quality Assurance/SM&Q, part of the Supply Chain Capital Equipment Organization, is dedicated to Tetra Pak becoming the indisputable industry leader in quality, by leading systematic activities with suppliers, and driving a quality mindset through the supply chain of Capital Equipment.
In this role as Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for overall supplier quality performance, as well as the continuous improvement through leading product & process assessment, implementing proactive quality control methodologies and driving supplier quality issues resolution.
The position is based in Lund and you will travel about 25% of your time.
Main responsibilities
• Perform supplier product and process assessment according to Quality framework.
• Drive supplier development according to World Class Manufacturing principles through coaching, mentoring and follow up improvement activities
• Deploy and analyze supplier quality losses and assessment performance data and visualize Supplier Performance
• Drive corrective actions to eradicate supplier quality issues following the Issue Resolution Process
• Pro-actively identify gaps, propose solutions and opportunities for improvements to the Root cause eradication processes and methodologies
• Act as Quality representative in product development and product life cycle projects.
• Handle networking process with key stakeholders (i.e. Market Companies,
Supplier Management, Production, and DSO)
Qualifications

• Professional skills in develop and coach our suppliers in a positive direction.
• Strong drive for results, Customer and Quality mindset.
• University degree in Engineering
• More than 5 years of work experience managing suppliers quality and/or project management in industry
• Experience from working with World Class Manufacturing, Lean or other continuous improvement systems will be a plus.
• Excellence in spoken and written English and MS Office is a must.
