The Large Motors and Generators Division offers a comprehensive product portfolio of large AC motors and generators. From general purpose to highly customized designs, synchronous motors and high voltage induction motors provide high efficiency, reliability and availability across all major industries and applications, including some in the toughest and most demanding environments. The division also has a long track record of designing and building generators for wide range of industries, including power generation, marine, oil and gas, mining, and data centers.
In this role, you will be part of a team with 5 colleagues working with supplier quality. Your main responsibility will be to analyze and follow up suppliers to prevent that non-conformance products are sent to us. Coordinate first sample approval together with suppliers, SCM and technical experts are also a part of your responsibility. The position will offer variation and close cooperation with both suppliers and internal specialists.
In this role, you will be a part of the quality department and report to the Quality Manager.
Your responsibilities
Support production with activities related to non-conformities from suppliers.
Coordinate work with production, engineering and suppliers to improve quality of purchased material.
Participate in supplier performance evaluation and supplier quality development activities.
Drive improvement projects with our suppliers based on quality or cost improvements.
Support supplier onboarding.
Perform audits at suppliers.

Your background
More than 2 years of work experience within the relevant field and a Bachelor or Master degree in a technical area.
High level of analytic skills with a questioning attitude.
Good communication and cooperation skills to be able to collaborate with all levels of the organization, as well as suppliers and customers.
Work experience in 8D reports, DMAIC or similar.
You are a team player, driven, structured and result-oriented.
Fluency in Swedish and English, written and verbal, is a requirement.
