As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will be part of a strong team of professionals at Surge Arresters and Capacitors & Filters, High Voltage Products in Ludvika.
Within the Supplier Quality organization, our mission is to ensure that purchased materials for our production units always keep high quality level. As Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for one or several product areas and perform preventive quality assurance along with supplier development.
Your responsibilities
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for product complaints of supplied material from external Suppliers.
Drive & monitor the supplier process- and part- qualification to ensure that your supply base is and remain fully qualified and compliant. Support supplier onboarding along with buyer via SAP Ariba.
Perform required product surveillance at supplier manufacturing site and drive improvements.
Represent the "Voice of Supplier" to Hitachi Energy, e.g. R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Quality, and Manufacturing.
Conduct regular supply quality reviews with local manufacturing units to set the improvement focus and help to ensure proper reporting from local to global systems.
Supplier Development: execute improvement projects along with Supplier- and Hitachi- team.
The role requires close cooperation with category teams, responsible buyers, Q&OPEX, Sustainability/HSE, R&D/Engineering and project tender teams, among others.
Your background
You have a Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering and/or equivalent technical competence and minimum 5 years working experience in Quality
Fluency in Swedish and English language, both written and spoken
Excellent communication skills, internally and in your communication with others in a multicultural environment
It is qualifying with product knowledge, High Voltage Components
You have experience within Production or design
Experience of working with suppliers
• You know how to build a successful team
Experience of SNCRP and Synergy is a merit
Experience within machinery or industry
Used tools: SAP Ariba, SNCRP, Synery, SAP, PowerBI, Share Point, Teams and OneNote, MS Office, Minitab, FMEA & Audit tools
