Supplier Quality within Scania Purchasing is responsible for quality assurance of new and modified parts, delivered by our suppliers from start of production during the entire product life time. We are now searching for two candidates to work in the Supplier Quality Cab Exterior-team.
Position as glass and rubber hoses SQA
This position requires experience in quality assurance of manufacturing processes.
Your area of responsibility will be windscreens, windows and rubber hoses for AC applications, brake and fuel systems.
Experience in manufacturing process of glass or rubber hoses or product development within these areas are meritorious.
Position as painting process SQA
This position requires some years of experience in painting process or painted parts or product development within this area.
Your area of responsibility will mainly be painting application on exterior parts.
Experience in quality assurance of manufacturing processes is meritorious.
Your Tasks
As an SQA within the cab exterior team, you shall ensure that our suppliers comply with the high quality expectations according to ISO/IATF-16949. You work closely together with Scania R&D, purchasers and suppliers in order to assure that quality is designed into the products as well as into the production processes. A close cooperation with our production units is also a part of the function.
By involving yourself in the development work, you acquire knowledge of the products requirements and by understanding both the suppliers product and process planning, you can ensure that their processes are capable of producing accordingly.
Your Profile
We look for candidates with engineer profile, who enjoys the varying tasks of the SQA role, has a strong commitment and works well both alone and in teams. Delivering results and taking decisions are skills you need to possess and with high analytical skills and driving approach you will have the prerequisites to succeed in this role.
Since you will have many international contacts and supplier visits, we presume that you enjoy and are willing to travel on a frequent basis. You must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
