BA Markets is now looking for the right person to fill the position as Strategy Implementation Manager for Business Unit Assets
In Business Unit (BU) Assets we maximise the value of all Vattenfall assets through optimal bidding and dispatching of power plant capacities. In addition, we are responsible for the development and execution of an appropriate hedge strategy of the overall exposure of Vattenfall. BU Assets is active across Europe with around 90 highly skilled employees in Stockholm and Hamburg.
To benefit from the ongoing transformation of the Vattenfall portfolio as well as the transition of the energy system, our focus lies on increasing efficiency, driving the adoption of advanced analytics and automation and developing our capabilities to enable the optimization and steering of existing large scale power generation assets as well as new, decentral, energy systems.

As Strategy Implementation Manager you will be key in driving transformation and have the following key responsibilities:
Drive BU Assets' business planning and strategy process
Oversee and steer BU Assets' project portfolio, to ensure business plan execution
Actively take part in the project portfolio prioritization process in BA Markets, representing BU Assets
Support and guide activities for Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement in BU Assets
Lead selective project initiatives
Develop and drive selective new business initiatives (e.g. decentral business cases)
Lead Business Intelligence activities within BU Assets
Be part of the BU Asset Management Team
Qualifications
At least 5 years of relevant work experience
Relevant experience in the areas of Business Strategy, Consulting, Project Management or similar
Experience of agile development and stakeholder management
Good understanding of the energy market and its current developments
University degree in relevant areas.
You truly like to work in cooperation with others and to manage key stakeholders on all managerial levels. With efficiency, structure, grit and high spirits you solve even the toughest tasks. The right candidate has the ability to assess what is good for BU Assets as well as for Vattenfall and convince the company to rally behind it.
