Position Description
As a Strategic Sourcing Professional you will be a part of a Strategic Sourcing team and work with cost-reduction/value-increasing initiatives within the supply chain, identifying opportunities and implementing improvements.
Key Deliverables
You will be responsible for:
• Developing sourcing strategies for assigned areas and ensuring provision of material to our projects
• Securing that our suppliers consistently improve performance
• Co-operate and interact extensively with other units and partners, both internal and external
• Negotiations and contract design
• Identify and continue developing sourcing opportunities in low-cost countries
Profile
You have a Business or Technical degree and probably 1-2 years experience from Sourcing in the Manufacturing Industry. International perspective/experience is preferred.
You have good communication skills in both spoken and written English, and works well with all levels in an organization. You also have high energy and drive and achieve high quality results. Negotiation skills and business acumen are some of your key strengths. You are able to manage strategic activities as well as more hands-on, operational issues when needed.
Information
The position is a temporary position for at least 12 months. You will be located in Helsingborg, but travelling is required.
