The Supply Chain organization within Roxtec is responsible for the functions in the “order to delivery processâ€, including sourcing, production and distribution of our products worldwide. Our main production and distribution centre is located in Karlskrona.
As our Strategic purchaser you are responsible for continuous improvements and re-evaluation of the sourcing activities of the Roxtec Group when it comes to increasing profitability, improving performance and minimizing risks. The objectives are reduced costs in combination with high and stable quality and service levels at all times.
Besides developing the organization and the processes, you will in this position also actively take part in the work with the RFQ-process, supplier development, supplier evaluation and agreement negotiations on the global scene. Other important tasks include responsibility for supplier and products/technologies selections as well as building and managing commercial relationships with suppliers.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a university degree or corresponding competence and extensive work experience from sourcing, supply chain management and logistics. Project management skills and experiences from working in project based environments together with experience from China and India are considered as additional qualifications.
To be successful in this role, you will need to work across the organization in cooperation with other Roxtec colleagues to challenge the business processes, always aiming to increase the profitability of Roxtec and our customers.
You are self-motivated both in successful times and in times of hard pressure and failure – with a healthy self-confidence. Excellent language skills in written and spoken English and Swedish are required.
As Strategic purchaser you report to the Global Sourcing Manager. The position is based in Karlskrona, Sweden, and will require frequent travelling.
