We are responsible for the procurement of production and development equipment. We work strategically with the business, developing and implementing purchasing strategies and activities. Our global environment allows you to connect with a diverse network of people internally, across different departments, and externally with Traton, Volkswagen Group, and suppliers.

Job Description
As a Strategic Purchaser, also known as a Sourcing Manager, your main objective will be to source production and development machinery and equipment for a dedicated category, aligning with the company's needs and long-term goals.
Key responsibilities include:
• Steering procurement projects and leading commercial negotiations
• Maintaining and developing the supplier base
• Scouting for new suppliers and technologies
• Presenting results to decision boards
• Enabling improvement initiatives within the team and at Scania
This position offers an excellent opportunity to engage with new technologies, explore new business models, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Your Profile
We believe that you are passionate about the business and have previous experience in purchasing or a related field. You are a team player who enjoys supporting colleagues. You demonstrate professionalism, creativity, and possess the ability to see the bigger picture, often finding win-win solutions.
You hold an academic degree and are fluent in English, written and spoken.
